Jan Luba QC Garden Court Chambers, London. His many years of experience combined with his encyclopaedic knowledge of Housing law make him ideally placed to lead this year’s Conference.
District Judge Sterlini, Clerkenwell & Shoreditch County Court, where he regularly hears a wide variety of housing related claims, in particular, claims made by social landlords for possession based on anti-social behaviour. Prior to his judicial appointment Judge Sterlini was a partner in a firm of London solicitors where he specialised in housing law
Richard Antcliff, Chief ASB Officer, Nottingham City Council’s Community Protection Directorate. His philosophy is to make best use of all of the remedies available to combat anti-social behaviour and he has a national reputation for using innovative methods to protect tenants from the impact of anti-social behaviour.
Gill Marshall, Solicitor, Section Head, Leeds City Council. Gill manages a specialist team which deals with anti-social behaviour. She has been involved in anti-social behaviour and social housing cases for over 10 years.
Jamie Saunders, Solicitor, Head of the ASB unit at Hugh James Solicitors, London and Cardiff, one of the top 100 law firms in the UK with offices in London and Cardiff. Jamie is a specialist in all aspects of ASB and social housing litigation work. His clients include local authorities and RSLs.
John Dunworth works in the specialist anti-social behaviour
and young people’s unit of the Home Office. He was formerly
the head of the drugs prevention advisory service and
head of the domestic violence unit. Consequently, he has
extensive expereince of a variety of social problems including
anti-social behaviour.
